I came to Mimo with some web design experience already. I had the design side of web design in my pocket, but I wanted to learn more coding so I could build real skills and open new doors.
At the time, I was working as a Registered Behavioral Technician in ABA therapy. Then my life changed. I became medically disabled and couldn’t work the way I used to.
That’s when learning to code stopped being a casual interest and became a real path forward. I’m working toward a pivot into a work-from-home role, and I’ve been using Mimo to build the skills I need to get there.

I’m getting more comfortable writing code and solving problems on my own, and that progress has made the goal feel realistic.
Learning with Mimo helps me stay focused on what matters — becoming job-ready for a role that fits my current reality. On the days when I can’t do much, it still gives me a way to keep moving forward and keep building toward something better.
