Learning to code is a journey. At Mimo, we’re fully aware of that, which is why we want to tell you all about our products, and how to use them, no matter where you are on your coding journey. Let’s deep dive into the Mimo-verse and give you a full Mimo review.
In addition to the Mimo app, we created Mimo on the web to help users get a real-life coding experience and practice coding on their computers. With Mimo on the web, you can use your keyboard and a screen to learn web development and create your projects.
On top of that, we have Mimo Dev, our online coding bootcamp, designed to help you become a web developer and get hired within six months. Learners who want to gain tech skills and become web developers can apply to our online coding bootcamp.
These are our main products. Now let’s see how you should use them to reach your coding goals and what learners love the most about them (mimo review included).
The Mimo app is our mobile product. Since 2015, when we first launched, we’ve successfully helped over 17 million beginners learn to code. The Mimo app offers a mobile-friendly approach to coding and various unique features to help you reach your coding goals. You can spend as little as five minutes per day in the app, and you’ll still make progress toward your coding goals and learn something new. In addition, our bite-size exercises make coding accessible and easy to practice, no matter your background.
Learners can also upgrade to Mimo Pro, and enjoy extra benefits such as unlimited playgrounds, coding certificates, access to our community, and an ad-free learning experience. If you have doubts that Mimo Pro is right for you or if you’re curious if it’s worth it, check out our latest article, How much does Mimo cost and is it worth it?
“It’s easy, it’s simple, and it’s EVEN fun. This app is handy for beginners who just got into coding or long-time coders who just need reminders. Best coding app teacher EVER.”
Our online coding bootcamp, Mimo Dev, came to life because we wanted to bridge the gap between learning to code and becoming a developer. Mimo Dev is designed to help you gain the skills you need to get hired as a web developer after finishing the six-month program. Many Mimo Dev graduates successfully landed their dream job or got their first freelance clients. Check out their inspiring success stories, Mimo Dev reviews and how they got their first coding job.
Mimo Dev covers everything you need to know, from a curriculum that’s based on the job market to coding projects and career coaching, all in just six months. If you’re dedicated and have around 20 hours per week to invest, then Mimo Dev is the perfect program. By joining a coding bootcamp, you’ll get a real taste of what web development is all about.
All you need is a computer and an internet connection. That’s it! You’ll need them to attend the 1-on-1 sessions with your instructor and your weekly study plan. If you’re curious and want to join Mimo Dev, read more about the curriculum and apply.
The latest addition to our product portfolio is Mimo on the web (currently in beta). Many people want to dedicate more than a few minutes per day to coding, so we decided it’s time to build a web product. Mimo on the web allows you to learn and practice coding on your desktop and get the real-life coding experience.
Mimo on the web is a unique product designed to be used on a computer with a screen and a keyboard. Since it’s a web product, the curriculum and the coding path only focus on web development. There is a shared curriculum between the Mimo app and Mimo on the web. This means you can seamlessly switch between the two without losing your progress. If you want to read more about Mimo on the web, how the beta version works and how to sign up for it, we have dedicated a blog post explaining all the details.
However, the coding path is quite different from what you can find on the app. So if you fancy coding on your laptop Mimo on the web is for you. Use your Mimo account to log in for free and start learning web development.
